Re: [EN] The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Stage 3 A 10km long time trial, and another unpleasant result as Vinkourov took the stage, 18 seconds ahead of Sanchex, who'd finished 2nd on every single stage, and in the GC, and on points! Marc de Maar rode the time trial of his life to take a fantastic 13th, giving him 13th in the GC, whilst Gl...

yes, stage 2 was on easy :P Tour of Qatar 6 pancake flat stages, baking sunshine, lots of wind. 5 days of sprinting against the likes of Ciolek and Breschel, but a TTT beforehand against the likes of Saxo Bank with Cancellara. Scary stuff. Stage 1: Doha (8.1km, TTT) The team is dragged along by Iri...

Thanks :) Stage 6: Adelaide – Adelaide (157.7km) Screenshots deleted. Oops The final stage, a final shot at glory. Given Ben Day's mountain jersey lead was completely unassailable, you could forgive him for not going in the break today. He did anyway, along with David Veilleux. Petacchi won the sta...

Stage 5: Snapper Point – Willunga (242.1km) http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa293/Crommy90/10_jan_tdu_50.jpg Is it just me, or has Australia suddenly become really, really Italian... The queen stage, with climbs of the Willunga hill, which almost seemed completely different from it's usual self....

Thanks very much ;) Stage 4: Norwood – Goolwa (198.4km) http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa293/Crommy90/10_jan_tdu40.jpg A very flat day today, and with no mountain points, whoever would be going into the break with me would be going for the stage win, or some TV time. That job fell to David Veil...

Thanks :) Stage 3: Unley – Stirling (152.6km) http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa293/Crommy90/10_jan_tdu30.jpg With 32 more points on offer today, my job would be to get Ben or Dean into that climber's jersey. But with the climbs quite late on, I decided to split the chances, sending Ben into the...

Stage 2: Gawler – Hahndorf (165.6km) http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa293/Crommy90/10_jan_1_1.jpg I would be marshalling the break today again, with Deano hoping to pick up all 32 points on offer. But we managed not to just slip Deano away – Ben managed to get into the 6 man break too, giving u...

We're up against riders like Cancellara, Petacchi, Bennati, Farrar, Kroon...quality, quality riders. We've brought along our five Aussies, plus David McCann and David Veilleux...

Australian National Championships (ITT, Buninyong, 6/1/2010) I came to Buninyong for the Australian National Championships expecting glorious sunshine. I got the same damp, drab, depressing, overcast, miserable grey weather that I thought I'd left behind when I left London Heathrow. The course for ...
