Tour de France : Questions/Answers

Orica was Pain in the Ass actually - it was the second last team i completed before i took super combatie with Shavanel , wich actually can be quite tricky especially because you have 2 win 2 stages, and first time i was thinking winning the 1 stages in Quicktour (2 stage in race) beecause it is screaming out to a rider like chavanel to win.

But because i then got the yellow jersey i could actually not use this advantage on stage 5 because the peleton wont let you go, and also Trek and Omega Pharma wont let you go either, because they see you as a threat for the stage win -

Then i a a few extra climbs stages on so i lose time on one of them, and lose enough time, then i go on break away on the mountain stage with BIG downhill, there you can actually get in a breakaway with 15 minutes if you are that behind, and then take alot of KM for the COmbaiivity mode at the same time. I was on breakaway in 870 km over 9 stages

But my Top 5 "HATE" Objective

1. 1 and 2 with Froome and Porte i did it a few times i actually had to use Froome as protector forPorte on some of the biig mountain stages, to make sure he actually could not lose to much time on the favourites.

2. is probaly that Orica,

3. i can say exactly but Franck Shleck / Zubeldia is quite hard because there is a timetrial in that because of Cancellera has to win timetrial and both Zubeldia and Franck lose over 1 minute at least on the favourites

4.i would say Belkin some of the obejctives with Mollema where you have to get top 3 and win 1 stage.

5. I would actually say to win mountain jersey with Fuglsang can be quite tricky even it is easy, but if you are to close to favourites before big mountain stages they dont let you go and then you can actually lose points

I was very curious about your top5, so I continued my walkthroughs with these teams. The Schleck/Zubeldia was really a hard one. I finished it with the lucky 9.-10. places.

Sure you did - Show us some videos and not for a 7 stage quick tour but from a WHOLE tour its impossible to win tour with Wiggins he can follow 80+ riders in mountains he lose time EVERYTIME

Finally! I finished the 10 star achievement (SUPERSTAR) last night!

All achievements done for 1000 gamerscore! I'm so happy!

I can confirm, that all objectives are manageable, the dev. team found very good levels of difficulty for them. No bugs!

Summarizing: It's a very good game, with big progression compared to the last year's one, and has an enjoyable achievement/trophy list.

I'd like to buy the Xbox 360 version to play in the US, but can only find it on the UK Amazon store. Does anyone know if Tour de France 2014 for the Xbox is region locked or would I be able to play if I get an import copy?

are you going to solve the bugs?there is a lot of bugs. will you improve IA and will you do more slowly the races when you put the database dlc?when will we can download db dlc from the store or bazar? Thanks

I think, the TDF games aren't region blocked, but if you want to avoid any risks, the best choice is to download it from xboxlive. I did the same.

Will be there any kind of random factor in the new game? I mean, the best AI was always Contador in the last two years. Last year, he was not the best rated (Froome was), but it doesn't bother Contador to be always the men to beat. I wanna know if accidents or punctures or any random events can affect the results more, than in the last two year's games. (Teammates were too good bringing back the leader, there was no personal "weak days" randomly, or enough incidents.) It can be good to race different AI riders for the yellow sometomes.

This year we've added race day conditions. This last affect riders' performance every day. Consequently, a rider can have "weak days" or "exceptionnal days".

I believe this year, there will be 3 difficulties to choose from. Which difficulty level would match the the difficulty of the 2014 game?
