Incorrect rider names

The rider names for the Sky team (and possibly other teams as well) in career mode are incorrect, the names for the Sky team in a stage race, single stage or classic are correct. Why is this?

Also if I use the DB editor to correct the names - they are incorrect in the database - and then restart the game in career mode the riders names are still incorrect.

So how do I modify the rider names so that they are correct in career mode.

It is because there isnt license for all teams.
Once modified the DB and save, you must select it in the game options.

Strange how they can use the correct names when not in career mode though.

I did save the database and select it in the options but that didnt work - names stayed the same.

Well, if you started a career before changing the names, you won't see the new ones. You will need to start a new one.

Although it's probably easier if you search for PCM fan sites out there who will release full databases with real names, photos, new races, etc., than do it yourself.

Thanks Jeremy - wish I had known that before. Thing is, do I want to start all over again. Probably not.

For further reference, it's usually better to wait a few weeks before starting a serious career because there are always a few bugs to be fixed. For me it's not a problem to start a new one because most of the fun I have is planning the season.
By the way, have you tried the Armada mode? It's also quite fun.
