How does the ranking of the new online multiplayer mode work ? Is there a ladder mode on track events?

There is no ladder mode in track events. Every ranked game will be played in 'Armada' on road races. Maybe the track races will be available on Armada one day, but not for now. Track is still available for friendly games.

In Armada, there are both friendly games and ranked games. Friendly games will be mostly for fun, but it will not improve your team. Ranked games give you money to buy new cards and you will score points in the game leaderboard. There is a match making system finding players with the same levels, so the newbies won't play against experienced players at the first game. The is a specific calendar for ranked games, so you'd rather have a versatile squad to fit in every type of races !

The scoring system will be detailed as soon as the leaderboards will start.

Yes, it can include all the playable races of PCM.

How does Armada actually work? Is it like a regular race? Or is it a simulated race? Or something different then that?

Armada races are only 3D races. There can be 4 to 20 human teams and the roster is completed by passive AI teams.

No, it's is the same than the former ladder race. we might control the race speed when most of the rider finish the race.
