Optimizations in 3D races

Hi, I want to know about the Optimizations. In PCM 2011, there were a lot of problems with the system resources, because with a strong computer, some graphics options couldn't be set in maximum values and in race it was difficult to play in 3d mode with fluency. So, will PCM 2012 be better taking advantage from a strong computer? and will we be able to set those graphics options at maximum?

There have been big improvements in the optimization of the 3d races. First of all, we activated an option to allow the application to use more than 2 Go of RAM. In the previous versions this option was not set and it could cause crashes on some greedy stages like Milan San Remo, Paris Roubaix or some Tour de France stages. Now it is over.

In addition, 'strong computer' is not an objective opinion. The requirements to run PCM with the maximum graphic options are very different than most of other games. However, you may uncheck the 'force graphic options' mode, that allow you to choose every option one by one.

As it was mentioned during the PCM12's Fanday, the game runs better than before, even though we added more graphical improvements.

So, if i uncheck 'force graphic options' mode, i will be able to set in 4 (or maximum) all graphical options?

Thanks in advance.

No, you have to check the option to choose your options by yourself. Luckily there will be less crashes this year due to a fix in the memory usage, that allows to use more than 2 Go of RAM. It should drastically reduce the crashes you might have in the previous versions, especially in the big classics or Tour de france stages.

Yes, i know about the RAM Memory usage, and is a really important improvement, but, I'm pretty sure my computer meets the PCM 2012 recommended requirements (obviously 2011 too), but, in PCM 2011, i can't set all graphical options in 4 (maximum value) , so, my final question is: will I be able to set all graphical options in 4 (max. value) ?

Thanks and great work!!!
