Stream read

Hi.
Yesterday i was playing the game with no problems, then i stopped of playing and when i came again to play the game crashes when is loading the stage when says "stream read" the game crashes...
I would like to know what can i do to fix this?

Same Problem here, but you can temporarily fix it by disabling your internet.

Please reset the settings of Pro Cycling Manager 2012:

WINDOWS XP
1. Click Windows Start button then My Computer.
2. Open Local Disk (C:).
3. Open Documents and Settings folder then your Windows username folder.
4. Open Application Data folder (*)
5. Delete Pro Cycling Manager 2012 folder.
6. Click Windows Start button then My Documents.
7. Delete Pro Cycling Manager 2012 folder.
8. Run Pro Cycling Manager 2012.

(*) Note that on some Windows systems the application data folder is hidden by default.
Here is how to make it visible: Click Tools, Folder Options then View tab.
Check Show hidden files and folders. Click OK.

WINDOWS VISTA/WINDOWS 7
1. Click the Windows Start button then on the Windows username link present at the top right above Documents.
2. Open the folder AppData (*) then the folder Roaming and delete the folder Pro Cycling Manager 2012.
3. Click the Windows Start button then Documents and delete the folder Pro Cycling Manager 2012.
4. Run Pro Cycling Manager 2012.

(*) The AppData folder is an hidden folder by default. To view this folder, click Organize from the top left then Folder and search options.
Click the View tab and check 'Show hidden files, folders and drives' under 'Hidden files and folders' in the 'Advanced Settings' window.
Click the OK button.

this is not working, just did that.

The Problem must be something on your side. PCM was working till yesterday without problems. And then the "Stream Read" Problem started.
The only way to get around this is by disabling internet while playing.
whats wrong here?

Do you have the Steam version (running Steam in Offline mode) of the game or other version?

i really wanna know whats happening during "Stream Read"?!
Cause some of my friends have the same problem and fixed it by disabling internet!

Bonjour, j'ai exactement le même problème depuis hier avec pcm 2011 (plantage du jeu durement le chargement des courses 3D, à l'instant "stream read"). Installé, réinstallé, etc. Rien n'y fait, obligé d'ouvrir le gestionnaire des tâches et de fermer le jeu à cause du plantage.

PS: jeu acheté version cd, pas DL

If your graphics controller is fully supported by PCM12 and you have the latest display drivers, please retry the following graphics settings:

1. Run PCM12 and click the Options button.
2. Set Anti-aliasing to 0.
3. Click the Graphics Options tab.
4. Set Shadows to 1.
5. Set Level of vegetation detail to 1.
6. Set Display spectators to 1.
7. Set Quality of terrain to 1.
8. Set Level of urban details to 1.
9. Set Anisotropy to 1.
10. Set Textures quality to 1.
11. Set Isolated Buildings quality to 1.
12. Uncheck Reflection in the water.

nope not working. My Radeon 7850 shouldn't be the Problem here too.

As I said, it's all working without internet on. In German Forum many people have the same problem.

And that problem started yesterday at around 15 o clock. Before that everything was working fine

It must have something to do with internet on/off.
