Pro Cycling Manager

Whenever I try to start the game, it gives me the following error:

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000096). Click OK to close the application.

When I start the game from the folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2012), then it first tells me to activate game again with my key because of my recent hardware changes and then gives me the same error. I recently updated my processor and graphics card and haven't been able to play since then.

1. Click Windows Start button or press Windows and R keys.
2. Type DXDIAG in the Search bar (bottom left) or in Run window and press Enter key.

WINDOWS 8
1. Open the Charms Bar (shortcut Windows + C keys) and click Search.
2. Click Apps and enter the command DXDIAG then click DXDIAG under Results.

System tab: Windows version, processor model (Processor) and the amount of RAM memory (Memory).
Display tab: name of the graphics controller (Name) and the driver date (Date).
Audio tab: name of the audio controller (Name) and the driver date (Date).

A. Please configure Pro Cycling Manager 2012 in order the run the game in administrator mode:

1. Open Computer then Local Disk (C:).
2. Open Program Files or Program Files (x86) folder.
3. Open Cyanide folder then Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2012 folder.
4. Right mouse click the PCM.EXE application file and click Properties.
5. Click Compatibility tab.
6. Check 'Run this program as an administrator' and click OK button.
7. Open the AUTORUN folder then the EXE folder.
8. Right mouse click the AUTORUN.EXE application file and click Properties.
9. Click Compatibility tab.
10. Check 'Run this program as an administrator' and click OK button.

B. Please reset the activation of Pro Cycling Manager 2012:

1. Press Windows and R keys then type REGEDIT in the Run window and click the OK button.
2. Click the Yes button.
3. Open the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER then the key Software and the key Cyanide.
4. Delete the key Pro Cycling Manager 2012 and close the Registry Editor.
5. Run Pro Cycling Manager 2012.
