Nice, with this kind of stage, though i think rating it as 1st cat. is incorrect. 2nd woulr be more realistic, i think

In the TDF 1957, the only passage above, Mont Faron was 1st Category.

It will be one of the most important days of the last week... the Tdf will give a tribute to one of the most famous time trial ever, the one of 1989 from Gap to Orcieres Merlette! There will be an additional difficulty to that crono, that will be represented by the Col du Serre-Eyraud. It's a crono of about 80-85' effort... and it will obviously change the general overall of the tour de France!

In mine 100th edition obviously the Alpe d'Huez is a must. It will be a stage very close to the one of the real Tdf but different - we will climb the Montée de Villard-Notre-Dame, that's the south face of the Col du Solude, quite a little-twin of the major climb to the Alpe d'Huez that will follow immediately after.
