We are a couple of guys which have enjoyed your game throughout the last 7 years, who tried playing multiplayer stageraces the other night, and found some serious bugs.
We were playing with armada cards, 3 gold riders, 4 sillver and a bronze in Giro d' Italia. Finished 8 stages before we found out that we could never win..
Listing here in order of severity
1. Riders changes stats during the stage. Happens for both humans and computer teams.
Background story:
We started playing the flat stages of the GIro, bringing sprinters like Sagan, Matthews and Boason hagen. The computer teams had Giant shimano with Kittel and Degenkolb, and Cannondale with the 'real' Sagan as only competition, so we were looking forward to a fight for the green jersey.
Each stage there was a break away, and Giant shimano, Cannondale, and a couple of minor sprint teams was keeping the pace of the peloton. Only thing was it was Kittel and Degenkolb leading the hunt. Meaning that they was chasing breakaways like a helping rider would.
In the sprints there was no sign of either Degenkolb, Kittel or Sagan, but instead we lost every sprint to a cannondale rider called Cayetano Jose Sarmiento. He has 55 in sprint!!! Our riders had 83,79 and 78.
Sometimes our sprinters couldnt even follow our leadout men or trains, and died 10-15 km before the finish line. What did we do wrong?
Then we got a mountain finish on the 5th stage. I had valverde, and Geniez as a helper. Valverde had been sitting in the back third of the peloton most of the stage, until around 50 km before the finish.
The finish was a short climb, around 6km. Valverde was feeling good!
The peloton hit the climb with high speed, and valverde was sitting in the front, proteced by genious.
Almost full yellow and red on both riders, i put valverde on 87 effort curser to take off.
No riders infront of him, his heartrate showed 192, while Genius which was protecting valverde was showing 178?!
Valverde lost almost 2 min to the winner on that stage.. On 6 km.
Then a couple of ohter stages passed, and we talked about how the riders are rearranged at the left side, according to their place in the peloton.
One of my friend won the 8tj stage with Matti Breschel, beating Nibali, Rodrigues, and ofcourse Valverde. 8th stage is a mountain stage, with a brutal finish!
Breschel has 65 in MO. My friend brought Rodrigues as his Captain, but he couldn't follow the peloton on the first climbs..
It seems to us that our riders changed stats. It wasn't visible, but they would actually drive with the stats of another rider on the team. Same was happening for the Computer teams.
We also saw riders like Betancur attack from start on 100% flat stages.
2. Teamtrials just bugs.
We tried playing the teamtrial, 1st stage of the vuelta multiple times. Every time one of us would drop out, and the riders would just spread out all across the stage. This also happened to some of us in normal stage races in Armade.
3. Game crashes during load.
The game often crashes during load. Every 3rd stage we had to relaunch. We were 3 people with very different graphic settings. From high to low.
4. Not a bug. Just wanted to say its absolutely awesome that you've added fattigue between stages in stageraces. It seems to work just fine, and adds a whole other level to stage races. So thanks!
5. Not a bug. If there was a way you could play a multiplayer season, we would purchase even more Cyans.
All 3 bugs happend in 2 stage races. So i belive it should be pretty simple to reproduce.
Armada, stageraces, Giro witout first stage, 2-3 human players. Watch miracle riders.
We are familiar that you have increased the impact by daily form and recovery. But being oversprinted by Sarmiento and not being able to climb with Valverde or Rodrigues are maybe a bit excessevive, and we seriously doubt that is what happened.
