Runtime error on 3D stages

It happens to me that after playing the first stage (of the tour down under) in 3D mode, the game crashed on the second stage. I tried again, it worked and one stage later it crashed again. I did use the Italian real name DB, but it happens with the official DB also. Crash message is a Windows Runtime error. (which also occurs on other PCM versions according to the internet).

Afterwards I verified the game data several times (having the steam version), tried another real name DB ... but now it crashes EVERYTIME when I try to load a 3D race.

Game version is the latest one (1.0.11. ,something like that) and my pc specs are definately not the problem.

The problem seems linked to the modified database RSMnews_DB_v0.2:
C:\Users\Sebastian\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2014\Mod\Database\RSMnews_DB_v0.2.cdb

You should contact the author of the database.

Otherwise, please lower the graphics details.
Run PCM14 and click Options.
Under the tab Display device, in Presets, set the level to 1 for example.
Click the button Confirm then the button Ok.
