[ONGOING] Cannot start game - Crashes on startup

Hi

I've just bought my game and installed it, however i can't play the game.
I have a high end gamer laptop with Windows 8 installed.
I simply cannot start the game, it get the mouse load icon briefly when i click the game icon, but then the screen goes black for a mini second (like the game opens shortly) and then it returns to my normal screen. I get no error messages, no MSVCP100.DLL error or anything whatsoever. Have tried running the game in compatibility mode without luck.

I really dont know what to do.

Please post your configuration:

1. Press the keys WINDOWS (bottom left) and R.
2. Type DXDIAG and click the button OK from the Run window.

System tab: Windows 8 version (32 bit or 64 bit), processor model (Processor) and the amount of RAM memory (Memory).
Display tab: name of the graphics controller (Name) and the driver date (Date).
Audio tab: name of the audio controller (Name) and the driver date (Date).

Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit (6.3, build 9600)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ @ 2,4ghz
RAM: 8gb
GPU: GeForce GTX 780M - Driver: GeForce 340.43 (BETA)


I tried to create a guest account and start the game from there, and it worked. The game started perfectly fine, updated and so on. So i don't know what it is. All other game works fine, both Football Manager, Battlefield and so on.

Please do not use Beta drivers for your NVIDIA graphics controller.

Please download and install the latest Microsoft certified drivers:

1. Click http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/3 ... l-whql.exe
2. Save the application 337.88-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql.exe.
3. Once the download done, run the application.
4. Check 'Custom (Advanced)' and click the button NEXT.
5. Uncheck '3D Vision Controller Driver', '3D Vision Driver' and 'NVIDIA GeForce Experience'.
6. Check 'Perform a clean installation' and click the button NEXT.
