Starting problem

I recently had my desktop fixed, during to problems, but after the reperation I'm unable to play PCM 14. Every time I try to launch the game, the screen turns black as it is about to open the game, and it immidiatly returns to windows starting screen. I have any of you experienced the same problem, or do you have a solution to this seriously annoying problem?
