Time gaps: Current system de-values small gains

On this game it's very frustrating gaining time only to get nothing given. Not sure how the current system works but a few times i've had clear space between groups or a single rider with no time gaps given. Two of the ones which have frustrated me most was a stage on the Giro where i attacked on the last climb and held on to a 20 second gap come the finish after the decent. No time given. Another one was where i pushed in a cross wind on a flat stage and gained roughly 30 seconds. Again, nothing to show for effort.

A rethink in system needed to give allow different ways to gain time on a tour and also so smaller gaps to have value
