Career mode crashes in 2013

Dear customer support,

I've run into a problem with the career mode. I've altered the database and everything appeared to be running smoothly but once my game reaches 1-1-2013 it suddenly crashes. This has happened twice in a row.

I think it's either caused by the year it self or by the fact that my sponsor changed. Is this a known issue of some sort?
