[ONGOING] Crash - Start of career

When I click Single Player > Career the game attempts to load/connect and then crashes (disappears to desktop).

It also happens when I try to do Single Player > Classic mode.

However, it does not crash when I choose Single Player > Stage Race mode or Stage mode or Track.

I have already played the game on other modes but now want to start a career. I am using a version of the database which I have edited. This is saved in the correct place in the folder.

Please could someone help to find out what this problem is.

Also, the Single Player modes I can select (Stage and Stage Race) the only races I can see or select is Le Tour de France. Should there not be more?

I have tried uninstalling the game & re-installing it but this has not fixed my problem either.

The career mode works when I use the default database - I do not want to use this. So the problem is with the database I updated & saved as a different name.

Please post your configuration:

1. Press the keys WINDOWS (bottom left) and R.
2. Type DXDIAG and click the button OK from the Run window.

System tab: Windows version, processor model (Processor) and the amount of RAM memory (Memory).
Display tab: name of the graphics controller (Name) and the driver date (Date).
Audio tab: name of the audio controller (Name) and the driver date (Date).
