PCM 11 via Bootcamp for mac

Message11 Juil 2011, 22:52

Hi,

I can´t get PCM11 running on my macbook pro.
Following appears:

"An attempt to use virtual PC has been detected. Please close all PC emulators and try again. If the error recurs, press "Error report" and send the report to product technical support."

I don´t use any emulators, so I don´t get the problem.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

PCM11 on Mac using BootCamp or VMWare is not officially supported, this game is for PC Windows only.
But it seems that you cannot activate the game automatically.

You can get a Manual Activation Key in order to activate manually your game
viewtopic.php?f=129&t=8465

- Run Pro Cycling Manager 2011.
- Enter the Activation Key printed on the back cover of the game manual (do NOT click Next button).
- Click "I already have an Activation Key" at the bottom left of the game activation window.
- Copy the Hardware Code.
- Connect to: http://activation.cycling-manager.com
- In "Serial Number", enter the Activation Key of the game.
- In "Hardware Code", enter the Hardware Code and click Activate button.
- Copy the Manual Activation Key.
- Paste the Manual Activation Key at the bottom of the activation window of the game and click Next button.
- Pro Cycling Manager 2011 is now activated.
- The Pro Cycling Manager 2011 game disc is not required to play.

Can I get my money back? How could the software architect rule out the fact that some of us have Macs? Will there be a patch for this or will it never be supported?

I have a Macbook Pro with VMware Fusion by the way.

On a side note. What's wrong with using BootCamp, since you're not emulating anything. It uses the hardware as is. I really want to play this game, if playing it in BootCamp became possible I could deal with it (I would prefer running it on VMware, though).
