This is an example of many UNREAL and absurd situations, that happen in the poor TDF2013 AI  :

In a Complete Tour, (21 stages), Bennati is 7º in the Alpe D'Huez stage :o

Image

After Alpe D'Huez climb twice consecutively, and being 7th in that stage, Bennati begins the next stage (stage 19), TO THE MAXIMUM ENERGY... After the Queen stage Tour, Bennati recovery better, that the best climber in the game, Alberto Contador ... ¿?¿?¿? :o :o :o

Image

If that user, it had tried, he could get on the podium in Paris with Daniele Bennati ...

I'm TIRED of seeing these absurd situations UNREAL in this disappointing ¿Cycling game...?

Here are the links to the videos, in case you want to check this absurd situation ...

Stage 18: (Bennati finished 7º in Alpe D´Huez) :o : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7e52EEn ... n&index=18

Stage 19, (Bennati recovery full energy) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLj1A8s ... n&index=19

Youtube is full of videos of this type of UNREAL "Exploits"

This is as far as I commented above ... We do not want an unreal game where we win the Golden Ball and Golden Boot, with Gennaro Gattuso :? ... xD

This is RIDICULOUS ...!

So many players, we have abandoned TDF2013, and have returned to play great TDF2012, (for many years, if Cyanide guys not remedied this situation...) :|

jejeje... Do you played to the GREAT TDF2012...?

The the Tour de France 2012 route, was ideal for time trial specialist cyclists, who also were are good climbers, so I see VERY LOGICAL, that only the good TDF2012 players, also earned the Tour with a very select group of good cyclists, who met those characteristics, (Tony Martin, Kloden, Monfort, Van Gaarderen, Wiggins, Coppel, and some more ...), and had to do very well, and fight against the CPU maximum, to get this Podium in París ... (If you played TDF2012, you'll know right ...)

This toughness and competitiveness, made TDF2012, was a very REAL and ADDICTIVE game... with a nearly flawless IA ...
The only flaw I detected in TDF2012 AI, is that all the SKY Team, working for Cavendish ... If Cavendish had a puncture in the wheel, Wiggins, Froome, Porte, and all Sky Team, waited for Cavendish ... ¿?¿?¿?

Moreover, the TDF2012 AI was EXCELLENT ...!

So do not understand why Cyanide, has lowered the level of AI, and destroy the great feeling Playable, transmitting TDF2012 ...

I never want to explain TDF2013 problems again, (Team Comm, the absence of opposition from rivals IA, etc.etc.), But the disappointment that we have had this year, has been tremendous ...

Winning the Tour with 45" ahead of the 2nd, should be a triumph of cyclists level like Froome, Valverde, Purito, Nibali, Quintana, and only the best cyclists TOP25..., NEVER should be an objective achieved by level cyclists Andrey Amador, Dombrowski, Goutier, Gilbert, etc ... as it has become a game ARCADE and EASY, where all users, ALWAYS WIN, without opposition from the CPU...

Is this funny ...? :?

Should I play with Ayashiro to find difficulty and "fun"? :x

A Tour to be difficult to win, even with Contador, Nibali, Evans, Porte, Quintana, etc.. and only the good players from TDF, should reach the prowess to win with second-level cyclists ... :|

Cyanide is losing a great opportunity to be a referent leader in Sports SIMULATOR in consoles as Top Spin, nba2k, PES, FIFA FOOTBALL, etc.. because it is determined to want to satisfy casual users that they surely NOT buy TDF every year...

I hope to provide something, all the time we are losing, in reporting our feedbacks ... :?

Regards...! ;)

Yes I played Tdf 2012, it was more realistic than tdf 2013 for sure, but you could still win the tdf with over 20 riders... My biggest problem with 2012 was the fact you couldn't ride full stages, and not being able to change riders at any moment, and Cyanide fixed both of them this year, but as you said they have created a lot of new problems, (team comm, AI, etc.)

Yes, I agree that you shouldn't be able to win the tour with Amador, Gilbert, etc. But the fact is, that it is possible, so to make the game a challenge I try to win with a worse cyclist each time... haha maybe i'll try to win with Ayashiro too.

That Bennati example is a bit misleading, he was in the break away and finished 7th from 7. I don't see a problem there. Your point about recovery is true though, Compared to last year the recovery system is terrible, it seems like the previous stage has little affect on recovery, On stage 6 if you go full gas from the start of the stage to the finish, everyone will finish with no energy (green bar) but will all have recovered 100% by stage 7.

I'm not denying the fact the game is ridiculously unrealistic.

While wearing the yellow jersey with Chavanel I finished 2nd on the Alp D'huez stage to Contador, He caught me on the line and we got the same time, I ended up winning the yellow jersey by about 35mins with Chavanel.

I like to play with you in the online mode, but Cyanide, we have removed this year this possibility, Limited and basic game Moto-Cycling, TDF2013 ...

Thanks! :)

Yeah, it will be great to play with you and other hardcore fans online!

I understand your opinion. I think, difficulty settings will be important next year. "Easy" difficulty to win with Greipel, "Intermediate" like the TDF2013 difficulty, and "expert" to play a simulator-style game.

Ce qui me derange plus c'est de pas pouvoir commander aux equipiers de se ravitailler.

I think the game was much improved "overall" with 1/5 scale. The mountain stages in particular the AI was very good generally with just a few strange outcomes, it was during the flat stages that things went wrong.

Intermediate sprints are still way too easy to win. Due to the scale you could effectively make a break with your sprinter which is very unrealistic. (Intermediate sprint AI was broken in TDF2012 too) At the end of stages there was some AI issues with catching the breakaway

Personally I would have a mix of 1:5 scale and 1:2 for the ends of stages and intermediate sprints with just a message popping up on screen to say when it has changed. This would allow the AI for flat stages to be much improved.

I disagree that the game is totally unrealistic, I've played a ton of worse games for AI. The AI is getting better each year but always needs improvement.

There is no way Bennati would survive in a breakaway up Alpe D'Huez, surely?

I want to revive this topic because I'm in my stance and I'm still calling for a change of scale, the current fifth conveys no sensation of living in a race cyclist.

I have not bought the game for this reason, nor will I do while not change the scale. But I've seen several gameplays on youtube and follow that unreal feeling Moto GP bike when climbing ports, advancing rapidly because of this scale.

You may not get anything apparently seen, but I think cycling fans deserve a game that really convey the sport as such as occurred in TDF12 or as in the sagas of NBA 2K and MLB The Show, and this happens among other things for a reduction of scale, but otherwise will remain a farce game.
