This bonuses wakes me new doubts about the functioning of the Pro Team:

- There will all seasons bonuses at all stages in line of the Tour ?, or only in the first season (2015)?

- There will also be bonuses Criterium du Dauphine and Criterium International ?, I guess not, but for confirmation.

Bonuses are on all races, not matter the season. We don't want the players to know every specific rules of each races. Consequently (with the permission of ASO), the rules are the same on Criterium, Dauphiné and TDF

Go, leave me a little cold with that answer. I think a mistake to transfer the credits to 3 races, when in reality the operation is different, the Criterium and Dauphine no bonuses.

So that users are not confused with the different systems of every race, I think it would have sufficed with a short explanation in the game manual.

I do not see well, which are conditioned every race/seasons only work well because this year's Tour 2015, and possibly next year and not adopted the bonus system in Tour 2016.

It would have been better to introduce bonuses Tour season (2015) and in subsequent seasons a random system to determine whether or not to include them in each Tour. While on the other side in the other two races, Criterium and Dauphine would never have bonuses.

Anyway, once again I am extremely grateful to him for his availability, and exhaust their time to clarify our barrage of questions about TDF 15 thank you very much and greetings.

just to set some things straight, the dauphiné has bonification seconds...don't complain about things that have been done correctly in the game ;)

I have another question about the recuperation, is this the recuperation in the stage itself or how much you recover between stages or both?

And i suppose the new jerseys of saxo-tinkoff won't be used in the game?

I did not precise when answering Carlos2Santos that at the time we implemented bonifications for Tour de France, we did not knew that there would be bonifications on Criterium International and Dauphiné. So we're totally correct ;)

When I speak about recuperation, I mean energy recovered between stages.

No, they should have unveil it 2 months ago so that it can be implemented in the game. The same goes for Lotto Jumbo.

so what determines how fast a cyclist recovers during the stage?

Resistance carac :
A 60 RES rider will loose more yellow energy than a 80 RES rider for the same effort.

Endurance carac between two 80 RES carac riders :
A 60 END carac will loose more energy than a 80 END carac for the same effort on the 200th kilometers but they will loose quite the same amount of energy if they do the same effort on the 50th kilometers. Note that figures are only for example. I don't have precise figures.

And about the endurance, as the 3 of the last 4 mountain stages are relatively short, endurance doesn't really play a big role for those stages? or does it?

Totally true, I was wrong, Dauphine and must be added also the Criterium International, both have bonuses like the Tour 2015 . For this reason I offer my apologies, because my claims were erroneous, and the application of bonuses in TDF 15 for 3 races it is perfect, as you have done so :D.

I am a bit lost with this bonuses, and therefore I would like to ask you exactly bonus system have been applied to the game?.

1º- 10", 2º- 6" and 3º- 4".

It would be so exactly, or have a different bonus introduced in the flat stages?, or also in intermediate sprint points there are some small time bonus?.

10, 6 and 4 is correct for every stage. I can't seem to find any information about the intermediate sprints so i think there won't be any seconds to win

melata a écrit:About the wind, I understand it is dynamic for a given stage, but, does it vary for different runs of the same stage or is always following the same pattern? I mean, every time we play a stage, will the wind vary the same way?

You won't have the same wind. Direction is completely random whereas wind force is "semi" random. Force is set for each stage but then increases or decreases randomly.
melata a écrit:Finally, now that you are clarifying the meaning of some stats... I got confused by TdF2014 behaviour of energy recovery... after the first stage (and after the first one after a rest day), every rider showed a full bar, no matter what they did. Was it a representation problem or was it intended? If the latter, could you explain (briefly) how recovery works?

Thanks!

Recovery has been redone from scratch this year. I will post on the devblog about that during this week.

OK, thanks a lot Patatrasse, now I understand it perfectly :)

I am glad to read the bold part... I didn't like it too much before ;)

Well I do not know for sure. But in the Criterium International 2015 they have been applied 3 different bonus for the first three riders:

Mountain stage: 10, 6 and 4 seconds.
Flat stage: 6, 4 and 2 seconds.
Intermediate sprints: 3, 2 and 1 seconds.

By this I doubt whether it will be bonus system in the Dauphine and the Tour arise. And I would like to explain in detail Patatrasse system of bonuses included in the TDF 15.

Yes, its role is smaller than on a 200km stage

For all stages (and races of the game), bonus are applied to the stage TOP 3 in that way : -10s -6s -4s. There aren't any bonuses for intermediate sprints.
